Anthony Brooks

Mr. Anthony Brooks is an associate attorney who joined Maryam Jahedi Law Firm P.C. in May of 2022. He is an alumnus of the New York Law School Two-Year Honors Program where he gained his experience in Family Law, Matrimonial Law, and Trial Advocacy. Mr. Brooks has served as a student coach for the award winning New York Law School Trial team that competed in the New York County Supreme Court. He has also assisted indigent individuals in Kings County and New York County courts through the Access to Justice Program by providing free legal counseling on uncontested divorces. Through his work in the courts system, Mr. Brooks developed his passion for Family Law and helping people with some of the most difficult issues relating to their family and children. Mr. Brooks has years of experience working with individuals from different backgrounds and of different socio-economic status. Being born in Russia and having grown up in New York, becoming an attorney was a life-long goal for Mr. Brooks who believes in the American Dream and what one can achieve with hard work and determination. Mr. Brooks has previously been awarded with Certificate of Distinguished Service from the New York State Courts Office for Justice Initiatives, as well as the Trial Advocacy Certificate for demonstrating advanced trial litigation skills.
